It seems that next month, along with the flagship smartphone Vivo X30 5G, the Chinese manufacturer is also announcing its new shell.
What is known
The head of software development, Ge Yanan, hinted at this by posting a teaser on the Weibo social network. The image shows the logo of the new shell with the name JoviOS. It will replace FunTouchOS (it has been installed on Vivo smartphones since 2014). Unfortunately, there are no details about the new system. We can only assume that it will receive a completely redesigned design and will be based on the Android 10 OS.
Recall that the Vivo X30 5G will be the first smartphone on the market to be equipped with a Samsung Exynos 980 processor with an integrated 5G modem. The device is credited with a “leaky” 6.5-inch AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 90 Hz, 6/8 GB of RAM, a 4,500 mAh battery, a single front camera and a main camera with four sensors, one of which is a periscope with a 60x zoom.
By the way, after the ” Black Friday ” the company Vivo reduced prices on some of its smartphones in Ukraine. All details can be found in our separate material here .
